East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a small rural health service in the Buloke and Northern Grampians Shires, with campuses at Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof.
An exciting opportunity is now available for Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing (RUSON) to join East Wimmera Health Service. Campus base can be negotiated.
Under supervision and working within the RUSON Scope of Clinical Practice, we provide you with supported learning to develop your skills and confidence working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, quality and effective nursing care
On going opportunities exist within the Health Service on the successful completion of the Bachelor of Nursing.

Applications are to include:
- Currently completing second or third year of Bachelor of Nursing or second, third or fourth year of double degree
- Registration with AHPRA as a student nurse
- Demonstrated satisfactory academic progress in the Bachelor of Nursing (Credit or above)
- Commitment to high quality, safe and person-centred care
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with other staff, consumers and families
- Ability to work all shifts including AM, PM and night shifts over a 7 day roster
