Are you a passionate nursing or midwifery student enrolled in a nursing program, eager to dive into real-world healthcare experiences?
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Students of Nursing to join the nursing teams at Western Health as Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing (RUSON).
RUSON’s work as invaluable members of the healthcare team, under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting the nursing teams to deliver high quality patient care, interventions and activities.
Part-time positions are available in our acute, subacute and emergency wards across Western Health for students who will be in Year 2 of their entry to practice nursing degree in 2023.
To be successful in this role you:
- Are currently enrolled in a University course that leads to registration as a Registered Nurse or dual Registered Nurse/ Registered Midwife.
- Have completed at least 12 months of the above course.
- Are able to commit to a minimum of one shift per week
- Have the ability to work rotating AM & PM
Positions are available for both a March and May 2024 start. The contracts available include both the opportunity to be employed up until registration as a Registered Nurse at the end of your degree. A rotating roster including both day and evening shifts will be available to accommodate clinical placement obligations. _________________________________________________________________________________
