As a Regulatory Analyst (compliance officer) your role will be to work closely with regulated accommodation providers across the state to help them meet their obligations. You will assist providers to become registered under their appropriate
regulatory schemes, conduct accreditation audits (desktop and in the field), undertake compliance site inspections to ensure providers throughout Queensland are providing quality services, and conduct investigations in response to complaints
and identified areas of non-compliance.
Key duties will include:
- undertaking assessments and analysis of organisational and business specific policies, procedures, forms, registers and other evidence documents related to the registration, accreditation and compliance of organisations and the commission of offences under the associated Acts.
- preparation of reports, submissions, briefs, memoranda and correspondence in relating to complex or sensitive registration, accreditation and compliance issues in the sector
- Initiating corrective or enforcement action where necessary
- Conducting investigations as required.
