About the Role

We have an exciting role within our Risk team as a Compliance Analyst in the Regulatory Change space.

Joining our well-established central compliance function, your role will be focused on management of Regulatory Change and the obligations register. Your key stakeholders will be within the central compliance team, and this will allow you to gain experience in obligations register management, policy management lifecycle, compliance training, Regulatory Change and incident review and breach investigation.

This role will require you to accurately and effectively identify all Regulatory Change alerts that could impact the Group and conduct an initial impact assessment. We’ll rely on your expertise to execute timely escalation of alert of high to critical impact to the Senior Partner for guidance to manage regulatory risk.

You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of alerts from identification to implementation of change and updates to the obligations register, while identifying and escalating potential issues to the Senior Partner.

We are looking for an individual with sound knowledge of Banking and Finance laws and regulations. You'll have the ability to manage a large caseload, meet tight deadlines and be a problem solver. We would ideally like to appoint someone with a legal background although this not essential. Compliance knowledge within banking and financial services will be required to be successful for this role.

Excellent time management come naturally to you. Yes – you are highly organised and live and breathe all things process efficiency, with a keen eye for detail! You keep cool, calm, and collected under pressure and are at your best when you are working towards tight deadlines.
