Purpose of the Role
In this role, you will act as the single point of contact for Quality Assurance (QA) assessments related to Regulatory Compliance measures for both internal and third-party channels. You will be accountable for breach determination resulting from QA assessments undertaken by EnergyAustralia’s QA partners.
- Work proactively with first line of defence remediation teams, Governance Leads and site Compliance Leads, to provide timely confirmation of regulatory breaches.
- Provide regulatory advice in relation to Regulatory Compliance QA calibrations with QA partners, third party vendors and internal channels, including the application of a risk-based lens.
- Take a risk-based approach to lead ad hoc independent internal reviews of the Regulatory Compliance QA Framework with the Customer business to ensure it remains fit for purpose, in accordance with any regulatory undertakings and enforcements actions.
- Lead the provision of Regulatory Compliance QA performance reporting for internal Customer business unit stakeholders, including CLT, Governance Leads and site Compliance Leads.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar role within an energy Regulatory Compliance environment and have an in-depth knowledge of QA Frameworks, terminology, measures, process and tools. You will thrive on building relationships, collaborating and have the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate deep and broad knowledge of Regulatory Compliance QA measures assessed by EnergyAustralia’s QA partners.
- Experience in interpreting and disseminating complex information to multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, analytical experience and problem-solving skills.
- Degree and/or Tertiary qualification in business or related field
