We are recruiting for a Civil Rehabilitation Engineer. Reporting directly to the Technical Services Superintendent, this exciting opportunity offers a pivotal role in our client’s dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project planning processes and ensure compliance with safety health management systems.
- Coordinate, plan, design, and oversee project activities.
- Manage drill and blast activities, ensuring quality control.
- Schedule and monitor rehabilitation activities.
- Conduct site inspections and develop innovative solutions for site issues.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Drill and Blast planning, preferably with Data Blast software.
- Familiarity with mining software such as Vulcan or Deswik.
- Experience in mine scheduling packages and project management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Passionate about maintaining a positive safety culture.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in using Vulcan, Deswik, Leica FMS, and MinVu systems.
