AddressWe are looking to appoint a Rehabilitation & RTW Officer. This newly created position will be charged with managing the workers’ compensation process throughout the statutory component of the claims together with the management of any common law claims. This role will be working predominantly within the Queensland jurisdiction.
The Role
- Manage the end-to-end workers' compensation and rehabilitation claims process and case management.
- Ensuring that all rehabilitation claims have suitable return-to-work plans and goals set along the recovery path.
- Liaising closely with treating multiple medical professionals, and the WorkCover QLD case managers to ensure that services required are provided in a timely manner.
- Accurately record claim details and documentation.
- Ensure that the injury management process works efficiently to get the best possible outcomes.
- Provide guidance on best practices and opportunities to improve internal injury management.
About you
- An experienced injury management and/or workers’ compensation professional, with experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex cases at the same time.
- Tertiary qualifications in health, science, injury management or related field would be highly regarded.
- Highly developed communication skills and can communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Has had success managing multiple competing deadlines.
