To develop and manage strong and financially rewarding corporate partnerships which result in the achievement of fundraising budgets and long term mutually beneficial relationships, whilst delivering activities to fulfil the national fundraising strategy. What’s important for the role:
- Revenue generation and partner retention
- Strategic approach to deliver the greatest ROI, as a custodian of the donated dollar.
- Promoting the Starlight brand & EVP. Being an active advocate and ambassador.
- To manage mutually beneficial partnerships across a portfolio of corporate and community partners and donor events.
- Maximizing opportunities to raise funds & meet State and Individual revenue targets
- Support Starlight projects & events (e.g. Starlight Day, Star & Ball)
- Represent Starlight at fundraising initiatives, activities and events.
As a proactive and resourceful team player with a passion for supporting Corporate Relationship’s, success will call on you to have:
- An engaging, authentic approach to building corporate partnerships
- Business development and/or fundraising experience
- Relationship management skills, knowledge & experience
- A high level of influencing and negotiation skills
- Confident public speaking and presentation skills
- Superior written and oral communication
- Excellent planning & ability to prioritise
- Ability to think innovatively and problem solve
- Well-developed MS Office skills
