About the role
We are looking for an experienced Release and Quality Assurance Lead with NV2 security clearance to be part of an exciting Defence project located in Williamtown RAAF, NSW. Reporting to the Operations Manager – National, the Release and Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring al SIEOPS initiated works and changes are recorded, authorized, scheduled, tested and reviewed in a controlled manner – ensuring impact to F-35 operations is minimized.
About you
Responsibilities and Key SFIA 5 Skills:
- Where Changes are large and complex enough, the Information Assurance Officers will plan and manage those Changes as a Project using Project Management techniques and the CIOG Project Management tools, Project Central and MS Project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer generated ICT requests and is responsible for the maintenance of an ICT works Register.
- Manage the employment of DSMS on low and high sides ensuring sufficient metrics are captured to enable governance and reporting.
- Management of procurement activities for all work packages, technical refresh activities etc.
- Maintenance of a Spares pool and Fly Away Kits (FAK) stored in Canberra Warehouse.
- Ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures.
Requirements:
- NV2 essential.
- Minimum 5 years experience ideally with Defence or Federal Government.
- Any previous experience with MPI Air 6000 (F-35 Lightening) a distinct advantage.
- SFIA level 5
