Job description

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our Amazon Logistics team.

As an RME Planner in this core part of our large, AU team, you'll be a leading voice in all conversations surrounding the technologies in our warehouses and delivery networks.

Key job responsibilities

Be the site level SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local engineering team in its use and escalate issues as required to the EU team.

Ensure the system is run in line with EU standards and participate in EU coordinated projects and improvement programs to roll out new functionality, procedures, scheduling or reports.

Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system in order to ensure technicians are never without the parts they need.

Ensure the system accurately forecasts and assigns all required preventative maintenance to technicians within the team to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Compile equipment information, performance metrics and machine histories and make recommendations for improvements based on their findings.

Manage spare parts stock levels, place and track orders as required. Work with procurement and the wider AU/EU network to find savings or efficiencies.

A day in the life

The primary objective of your role as a RME Planner is to keep operations running without a hitch. Based at one of our operational sites, you'll be responsible for managing assets and preventative maintenance planning. You'll dive deep into logistical performance, set high standards, and aim to optimise the equipment we have available.

From small, individual machine parts to entire systems, you'll make decisions on where maintenance resources should be applied, working closely with the local engineering team. Collaborating with other members of our AU network, you'll continue to seek out innovative new ways to drive efficiency even further.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Mulgrave, VIC, AUS | Villawood, NSW, AUS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. If you have all the basic qualifications above, we'd love to hear from you.

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, operations, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university.

Trade or degree qualifications in electrical or mechanical field

Experience using the Infor enterprise asset management (EAM) platform

Experience with the processes required for rolling out a new CMMS system

Experience in delivering training or coaching to colleagues
