An excellent opportunity has become available for an outstanding Warehouse Manager to join our well-established and growing Company. The Relief Branch/Warehouse Manager will be a commercially astute front-line manager, that provides efficient customer service, maintains good stock control and has strong organisational skills to manage the day to day operations.
The role involves the following responsibilities: -
- Maintain a high level of service to all customers in person, electronically and by phone
- Pick and pack orders, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and dispatched efficiently
- Schedule routine deliveries and co-ordinate driver runs
- Ensure inventory is received into stock efficiently and accurately
- Correct bin locations are maintained
- Organise and monitor stock levels
- Involvement in inventory counts and spot checks
- Backorders are dealt with daily
- EFTPOS and credit card transactions are processed accurately
- Money transactions are handled securely and accurately
- Communicate regularly with the Sales and Tech Team/Customers
- Comply with all WH&S policies and procedures
- Prepared to travel to other branches when required
To be eligible for this position you must be punctual, willing to learn, flexible with your day-to-day duties, and must have the following:
- Previous trade or industrial sales, wholesale and or workshop operations experience
- Have WH&S knowledge
- A Current NSW Driver's Licence with a good clear record
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be reliable
- Communicate clearly
- Have a positive attitude
- Be neat, tidy and presentable
- Have good attention to detail
Desirable but not essential: -
- First Aid Certified
- Forklift licence
