Fowler is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join our team:
As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of supplier purchase orders, invoices and settlement of payables as well as supporting the daily finance operations of the business including general accounting tasks as set out below.
- Raise invoices and claims for clients
- Reconcile progress claims
- Debtor collection and management
- Producing weekly debtor report
- Attend to client and supplier queries
- Preparation of month end journals
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Supplier account set up
- Supporting data validation in auto payment system
- Verifying invoices in the auto payment system
- Prepare reports for CFO as required
General accounts and accounting tasks including:
- Credit card reconciliations
- Supplier rebates
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly returns
- Insurance renewal information
- Motor vehicle registrations
- Insurance register and claims
- Petrol card, e-tags etc processing
- Other support for in Finance Function
Experience and qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of Accounting Concepts and applications
- Independent, results driven problem solver
- Ability to work under pressure, with strict deadlines and can multi-task
- Accounting degree
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Advanced Excel skills (formulae to assist with data analysis)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
