Remedial Construction Technician

No idea what that is? That's okay, it's a very niche field and only a few companies have the experience and the technology to undertake this kind of work safely and successfully. Lucky for you R+R have the latest equipment, the best materials, and the most experienced operators in the industry. So we have the best team in place to get you up to speed.

Every day is different at R+R; you’ll be working on houses, industrial facilities, roads and bridges or even mining sites. No two days are the same. Most of our projects for revelling structures are completed within a day. 

At this entry point of the business, there is a massive potential to grow and develop within our company. For the right person, it can be a long career. Almost no one in R+R has less that 15 year’s experience. We are the best at what we do, and we expect the best from our staff. 

So while it’s almost impossible to bring the skills we need to us, you will at the minimum need the following:

1. Current White Card
2. Ability to travel for short periods occasionally (usually a couple of nights or a week at most). Own transport to and from Seaview
3. Work weekends/nights if required in busty periods
4. Live in the South east suburbs of Melbourne (everyday starts at our shed in Seaford)
5. Own transport to and from Seaview
6. Physically fit
7. Has some construction experience and/or mechanical aptitude/skills
8. Preferred with Forklift/MR/HR licences, but not essential and will provide for the right candidate)

But mainly, you’ll have a good attitude, be a diligent and hard worker, treat our clients’ assets like your own, be a team player, always be on time and want to learn new and useful skills that very few people in industry ever get exposed to.
