Ambience Body Therapies is not just a clinic, it’s a community. We are a fun, active and professional group of colleagues with diverse interests and a common goal to support our clients in their wellness journey. We are conveniently located in Bardon in Brisbane’s inner west and boast a client book of over 4000 long term residents from the suburb and surrounding areas. We’re looking for the right someone to join our team.
Our therapists practice remedial, deep tissue, relaxation and sports massages as well as more specialised massage treatments such as pregnancy, Craniosacral Therapy, cupping, dry needling and lymphatic drainage. We have specialists who focus on sports and performance, recovery from injury, natal support, paediatric massage and lifestyle, engagement and vitality improvement.
About You:
We would like to work with ambitious and dedicated health professionals who are driven to providing personalised treatments for all our clients. We are open to introducing new treatment styles and we are keen to learn your unique style. As a business we are open seven days a week with a few late evenings during the week so ideally we would like our successful applicant to be flexible working a variety of shifts.
Responsibilities:
Within this role some responsibilities the successful applicants will need to perform include;
- Supporting clients to find the best and most effective service
- Engaging clients in appropriate and timely treatment plans, including appropriate home care
- Effectively collaborating with other therapists regarding client treatment plans
- Investigating and introducing new treatment styles which benefit clients treatment plans
Requirements and Benefits:
To be successful in this position the applicant must have;
- A Diploma of Remedial Massage or higher
- Hold or able to obtain health fund registrations including Medibank Private
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends if suitable
- Professional association membership
- Own ABN number
- Current first aid and CPR
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance ($10 million coverage)
- Time management skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
