Spinifex Health Service are looking for a RAN for a 2 RAN post in Tjuntjuntjara Community, Spinifex Lands, Kalgoorlie WA. This is a Casual or Permanent full time work arrangement.
The Role:
- 2 RAN post in Tjuntjuntjara, WA , requiring a RAN to start immediately.
- This opportunity is for Casual or Permanent work arrangements - Full time Monday to Friday
- Base pay is $129,000.00 F/T based on working 6 weeks on 2 weeks off
- Casual rate = Base rate +20%
- Return flight costs covered
- Fully subsidised accommodation available, and internet
- 80-100 community population
Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a RAN
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- A current Western Australian Working with Children Check.
- A National Police Clearance (not more than 2 years old).
- A minimum of three years full-time broad-based nursing experience, including A&E experience.
- Demonstrated remote Aboriginal nursing experience.
- Completion of REC, BLS/ALS, pharmacotherapy courses.
- Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal health, the principles of Primary Health Care and relevant legislation governing work practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, research, education and professional development.
- Familiarity with the CARPA Manual and the Women’s Business Manual.
- A comprehensive understanding of best practice for the management and treatment of chronic diseases in Aboriginal Communities.
- A current manual driver’s licence.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residence status or appropriate work visa.
- Recognised current Immunisation course certificate/training.
- Some experience in social and emotional wellbeing, mental health or alcohol and drug counselling.
