Applications are open for Registered Nurses to join our leading hospitals within East Metropolitan Health Services (EMHS). We are looking for Nurses who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of people in our community.

We are seeking to establish a pool of talented Registered Nurses to expand the nursing team across our hospitals at Royal Perth Hospital, Bentley Health Service, Armadale Health Service and Kalamunda Hospital. 

If you have experience in the areas of Medical, Surgical, Mental Health, Peri-operative and other speciality areas, we would like to hear from you. Please note that for ICU, Mental Health and Perioperative specialties, we are seeking Registered Nurses with at least one year of speciality related experience.

Registered Nurses made successful to this recruitment can choose to be placed in their preferred specialty area. All specialty nursing positions offered are subject to current vacancy.

Alternatively, if you are seeking diversity of experience by working across a range of differing specialty wards/areas you can work in the Royal Perth Bentley Group’s (RPBG) centralised permanent Corporate Nursing Pool. This pool of nurses covers staffing shortfalls for mainly short term to medium-term periods.

Our Hospitals

Royal Perth Hospital - Western Australia’s longest-serving tertiary hospital and state adult trauma centre, located in the Perth CBD, offering a variety of medical, surgical and specialty services.

Bentley Health Service - A 199-bed specialist public hospital that provides services including rehabilitation, elective and same-day surgery, aged care, and mental health services.

Armadale Health Service - One of WA’s leading public general hospitals, located 30 minutes south-east of the Perth CBD; offering quality health care across a range of medical, surgical, mental health and maternity services.

Kalamunda Hospital - Nestled in the Perth Hills, providing specialist palliative care services. The hospital has recently undergone a $9.5 million infrastructure upgrade to further enhance accessibility and facilities.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time, and Casual appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

This recruitment pool will be open for applications until 25 July 2024, and the following should be noted: 

• The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular basis.
• Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool and appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur within any EMHS facility.
• Appointments may be made from this pool until 01 September 2024.

Eligibility and equality
