SalaryMARS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Remote Area Nurse for a short-term agency contract located in the heart of the Kimberley region, north of Perth. The contract is with a Aboriginal Medical Service in a community outside of Halls Creek. If you like working in remote communities, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering comprehensive medical care to the Aboriginal community within the area.
- Providing culturally sensitive healthcare services.
- Responding to emergency call-outs.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in Remote Areas is essential.
- Experience working closely with Aboriginal communities.
- Certificates in any of the following: REC, MEC, Pharmacotherapeutics, Immunisation provider, ALS/BLS, manual handling.
- Possession of a manual license.
- Strong communication and cultural competency skills.
Package:
- $85/hr.
- Accommodation provided free of charge.
- Travel expenses covered from anywhere in Australia.
Note:
- This position is not suitable for families or individuals with pets due to the remote location.
- The contract duration is from March 13th to mid April.
