Bright & Duggan Property Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Repair & Maintenance officer to join a leading strata management company and start an exciting career within the Strata industry. You are someone that has highly accurate data entry skills, enjoys interacting with internal team members as well as completing daily administrative tasks then this role is for you!
The purpose of this new position is to provide Bright & Duggan Property Group clients, both internal and external, a consistently exceptional delivery of repairs and maintenance. This role is based at our head office in Crows Nest.
About the Role:
- Build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders
- Arrange quotations and issue work order requests
- Assist strata managers in delivering repairs and maintenance to their clients
- Daily coordination of repairs & Maintenance with contractors, and with owners, tenants, and agents for access only
- Complete follow up actions under the instruction of Strata Managers/Trainees (via committees)
- Coordinate recurring repairs and maintenance on behalf of Strata Managers and committees eg. Gardening and gutter cleaning
- Reporting on contractors through weekly catchups with line manager
- Reporting on metrics and KPIs
- Ensure accurate fees are charged to the building for work undertaken with the approval of the Strata Manager
- Work toward achieving Assistant Agent Certificate of Registration (or higher)
About You:
- Can do attitude with a willingness to learn
- 12 months experience in a similar reception, administrative or customer service role (preferred not essential)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Highly accurate data entry, spelling and grammatical skills
- Excellent corporate presentation and a great, team focused personality
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
