What you’ll do:
  • Support, track and manage the Environment, Sustainability and Catchment Protection programs and performance and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate the development, enhancement and delivery of environmental projects and sustainability initiatives and Programs.
  • Collect, store, analyse and interpret environmental, catchment protection and sustainability data and produce reports and insights to WaterNSW and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Provide timely advice on developments or changes to the regulatory environment laws, policies and issues so that WaterNSW can adjust its systems and processes to demonstrate compliance to its regulators.
What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Planning/Science/Assessment/Management/Law, business or information management or other relevant discipline.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data to provide useful output and insight.
  • High level written skills including preparation and production of briefings, reports, updates for a range of internal and external audiences and experience in translating complex issues into plain English.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of environmental projects and sustainability initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyse and evaluate key issues, recommend innovative solutions to complex problems and to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, investigative, research, project management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with others across the business.
