- Support, track and manage the Environment, Sustainability and Catchment Protection programs and performance and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the development, enhancement and delivery of environmental projects and sustainability initiatives and Programs.
- Collect, store, analyse and interpret environmental, catchment protection and sustainability data and produce reports and insights to WaterNSW and regulatory bodies as required.
- Provide timely advice on developments or changes to the regulatory environment laws, policies and issues so that WaterNSW can adjust its systems and processes to demonstrate compliance to its regulators.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Planning/Science/Assessment/Management/Law, business or information management or other relevant discipline.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data to provide useful output and insight.
- High level written skills including preparation and production of briefings, reports, updates for a range of internal and external audiences and experience in translating complex issues into plain English.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of environmental projects and sustainability initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyse and evaluate key issues, recommend innovative solutions to complex problems and to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, investigative, research, project management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with others across the business.
