DEFENCE | HYBRID WORKING | CONTRACT
Please note: Due to this role being within the Defence sector, Australian Citizenship is mandatory, and you preferably hold some type of active security clearance.
The role
Working within the Defence sector, the primary focus of this position is to support the business Bids and Projects PMO activities with a particular focus on the coordination and support aspects within the PMO or Project Office.
This role could cover any or all PMO related disciplines (Planning & Scheduling, Cost/Schedule Analyst, Risk & Opportunity, Document Control, Project/Contract/Subcontract Administration, as well as administrative tasks depending on the defined PMO perimeter.
Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the Bid manager for the bid document production process through the provision of appropriate services and management tools.
- Administer the bid management system/ SharePoint site including providing access, advice and training of users and maintenance of best practice.
- Create deliverable document templates and suitable user instructions.
- Assist the Bid Manager in the scheduling of documentation deliverables.
- Management of the physical production of the response volumes including compilation of required hard copies and soft copies in accordance with the bid requirements.
Experience required
- PMO experience with an understanding of Earned Value concept and Office Administration.
- Excellent team player able to bring positive and helpful spirit.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Engineering, TAFE Certificate or equivalent experience.
