We are looking for a university student to join our team as a Research Assistant on a casual basis (2-3 days per week).
Solutions in Engineering provides property compliance and safety reports to the strata industry in Australia and New Zealand. We assist strata managers to maintain the value of their building and ensure the longevity of the strata scheme through fund forecasting and compliance reporting.
The ideal applicant is a first or second year law student looking to gain office experience. This student role is flexible around university, however, it is expected that you will be available minimum 2 days per week in our Milton Office.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Document control and associated administration tasks
- General office support
- Contract review, drafting and mark-up
- Business development initiatives
- Report amending, drafting and preparation
- Market analysis and research
- Responding to enquiries based on State and Federal legislation
- Conducting research investigations
- Reviewing marketing documents
- Inbox management
About You:
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- An enthusiastic and optimistic demeanour
Legal research knowledge is essential. While knowledge of the property industry is preferred, it is not required. Previous experience in the strata industry is also not required.
Further training will be provided as necessary.
