The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within Research Services to join us Research Information Officer (ASO4).
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the co-ordination of project activities associated with the administration of research across the Women’s and Children’s Health Network.
- Providing high level administrative support to the WCHN Human Ethics Committee (HREC) as the Executive Officer and the WCHN Drug and Therapeutic Committee Clinical Trials Group (DTC CTG).
- Managing the maintenance of the information on computerised databases associated with human research ethics such as the management of the GEMS Database, and co-ordination of the compilation of statistics for annual reports on activity of the HREC and DETC CTG.
- Prepare and disseminate agendas, minutes and other correspondence as required.
- Provide advice and assistance to research staff and other key stakeholders in relation to online systems.
- Meet regularly with managers as required, report on progress with projects, resolve problems and assess future needs.
