About the role
The Clinical Trials Nurse has particular responsibilities for the implementation of the specific Unit’s clinical research protocols and drug trials and is accountable for own practice standards.
Duties include the coordination of trial subject recruitment, appointments and clinical follow-up, the collection of data, the collection of specimens, the collation of test results, and the immediate reporting of adverse events. Co-ordination and management of trial subjects/patients involves appointments, clinical preparation and implementation, answering telephone inquiries.
Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
