Flinders Medical Centre are looking for a dedicated and skilled Ophthalmology Research Nurse to join the team!
About the Role:
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the aims and objectives of research programs within Flinders Ophthalmology. This multifaceted role will encompass engaging in comprehensive discussions with referrers, patients, and clients, conducting meticulous history-taking, accessing records as needed, and maintaining research records and data. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting various tasks such as imaging, analysis, and phlebotomy, or overseeing the collection and distribution of other pertinent samples.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated experience and competence in the care and management of patients undergoing Ophthalmology interventions.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and without supervision.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, work calmly under pressure and meet work deadlines.
