Flinders Medical Centre are looking for a Research Nurse to join them in their Emergency Department!
About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse - Research is responsible for providing research and/or clinical support to the Emergency Department of Flinders Medical Centre. You will assist with the coordination of research projects in accordance with study protocols, ethics requirements and Good Clinical Practice Guidelines. Your duties will include patient recruitment, related to a multi-centre observational study in children who present with acute exacerbations of asthma and a RCT for children presenting with Febrile convulsions to the Emergency Department.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Previous experience in clinical research experience.
- Previously has been involved in coordination of clinical trials.
