Seeking a superstar Research Office Associate! ($32.50 p/h + super, Parkville, VIC)

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Research Office Administrator to join our team on a temporary full-time basis. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of the office, providing reception services and essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of research-related processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the office entry point and receptionist, handling front desk duties and phone inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Triage and respond to key functional area inboxes, providing timely support to the clinical research sector
- Maintain essential documentation and database entries in accordance with office procedures and key performance indicators
- Author and send correspondence, such as ethics and governance approvals, to relevant stakeholders
- Provide administrative support to the Human Research Ethics Committee and Ethics Office
- Assist with maintenance of key information platforms and databases
- Act as a central point for all office inquiries and advice, interacting with various functional areas and suggesting improvements to workflows and processes
- Assist with quality assurance activities to ensure compliance and efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience in reception and office administration roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with database management
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a healthcare or research setting is desirable but not essential
