Unlike most financial planning businesses, this firm has always provided a true fee for service advice model and are very "high touch" with their clients, contacting or meeting them regularly
The purpose of the position is to provide professional and proactive support to one of the Financial Advisers to enhance the client relationships and ensure they are well equipped to service their clients as per the practice service standard.
This role is very diverse, some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Take responsibility for file notes and action items from client meetings
- Assist with the upkeep of the financial planning software and keep up to date with changes and enhancements
- Provide assistance to Financial Adviser support team with client paperwork, preparation of lodgements
- Assist Financal Adviser(s) with strategy preparation and development through to implementation
- Write SOA request and send to an external paraplanner, then quality check when complete
- Assist Financial Adviser(s) with practice compliance requirements such as FDS and Opt-ins
- Liaise with clients both over the phone and in person
- Attend all client appointments to build relationships with clients
- Use of Wealth Solver
To be successful for the role you must have some experience working in a professional financial planning business as either a Client Services Officer or Paraplanner/Associate.
