The Opportunity
Join us as a Senior Research Officer and play a pivotal role in our dynamic Precision Medicine team. In this position, you'll leverage your senior-level expertise to oversee and deliver high-quality research services, managing complex research activities critical to achieving our program's goals. This includes establishing and maintaining analytical workflows, conducting bioinformatics analyses, and managing IT requirements.
Reporting to the Chair of Precision Medicine, you'll contribute to strategic planning, manage research programs, and maintain specialist knowledge in your field. Your excellent operational, project management, and communication skills will be essential in building partnerships, ensuring compliance, and advancing our understanding of human disease through bioinformatics approaches.
To excel in this role, you should have postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience, along with a proven track record in operational management. Your analytical, interpersonal skills, and ability to apply bioinformatics tools to complex data sets will drive innovation and research excellence in precision medicine.
