Our team of imaging scientists, radiographers and radiologists is committed to translating imaging innovations into clinical application and creating an easily accessible clinical trial and research imaging infrastructure. You will coordinate and monitor research projects conducted through Research Imaging NSW, as well as provide technical and research assistance to senior research staff. The role reports to the Imaging Facility Director and has no direct reports.
The Organisation
Research Imaging NSW (RINSW) is a strategic initiative developed by the University of New South Wales in partnership with South East Sydney Local Health District. The mission of RINSW is to provide researchers with state-of-the-art human imaging capabilities that foster increased collaboration between leading academic, research and health care institutions at the Randwick Innovation & Health Precinct, as well as nationally and internationally. This UNSW core facility is fully integrated in the Prince of Wales Hospital environment and currently has two 3.0T whole body MRI scanners, access to a portable MRI and an X-Ray lung ventilation scanner and a functional near infrared imaging system.

You have a degree in health, biomedical sciences/engineering or related discipline, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training or experience, as well as:
- Excellent time management skills, able to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.

- Research experience or exposure
- Familiarity with NSW Health/SESLHD systems & processes
- Range of computer systems and applications specifically eMR, Redcap, PACS, shared calendar systems
- Research data management including strategies for data capture, transfer, storage and dissemination and a strong commitment to ensuring data integrity and security/confidentiality.
