About the Position
The Research Officer, Performance Reporting and Insights (PRI) supports and contributes to the delivery of the PRI team’s analysis and reporting responsibilities using the Commission’s reporting tools and workflows. Following established data preparation, analysis and reporting procedures, the Assistant Advisor maintains data integrity and generates valuable insights on operations and performance for audiences across the Commission.
The Research Officer, PRI works across various business data systems, including the Commission’s case management and workflow management systems, Microsoft PowerBI and Qualtrics user feedback management system, to assist various data collection, quality assurance and analysis processes.
The Research Officer, PRI builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships across the Commission, including with Operational Performance Committee members and operational team Directors who investigate and respond to complaints, and address data quality assurance issues identified by the PRI team.
Duties
- Coordinate the design and delivery of ongoing and ad-hoc user experience (UX) research projects, surveys and reviews of Commission services.
- Support the production of business insights reporting for senior leadership and Members, monitoring organisational performance against various performance indicators and benchmarks using established data preparation and analytics procedures.
- Assist in the coordination of complaints handling processes and user feedback records, and preparation of insights reporting that identifies emerging trends and issues.
- Assist in the preparation of briefs, reports, guides, presentations, President Statements and other documents for internal and external audiences.
- Perform administrative functions to support the Operational Performance Committee’s monthly meetings.
- Contribute to the development of team objectives for short-term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.
- Perform other duties to support the Assistant Director and Senior Advisors, as required.
