Nexus Airlines is currently seeking a Reservation Coordinator to join our growing team based in Perth, Broome or Kununurra
About the role:
As a Reservations Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering a high level of client and customer experience and manage all bookings and reservations for the airline involving tickets, refunds, cancellations, credits and rescheduling.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide a high-level customer service and experience for the airline
- Point of contact for all customers, responding promptly to enquiries, and making reservations based on customer travel requirements
- Management of all email and telephonic communication for reservations
- Delivery and management of bookings such as ticketing and processing payments, refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and resolving of any issues that may arise with bookings
- Oversight of revenue management functions, sales and promotions and ticketing packages
- Assist the Operations Team in management and rescheduling of bookings during disrupt procedures, including managing passenger updates and handling all enquiries in a timely manner
- Reporting and record keeping of business and reservation matters for internal and external review
- Deal with customer complaints in a professional and deescalating manner, referring unresolved cases to the relevant manager
To be successful in this role:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the travel, airline or hospitality industry with a customer service focus
- Capability to hold dangerous goods certificate
- Ability to work flexible hours with rotating shifts
- Capable to adapt to an ever changing, fast paced operational environment
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Deadline focused individual that requires minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and accuracy with experience in analytical and well considered problem solving
- High computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with emphases on Excel, Word and Outlook
- Advanced IT Skills, experience with systems such as Air Maestro, Takeflite, Harmony Metron and/or other similar aviation safety and flight scheduling software highly desirable
