Chartair is currently seeking a motivated and confident Reservations Officer with the ability to provide a high level of customer service (Darwin based).

The Reservations Officer will be part of the Sales team, and responsible for managing all charter enquiries, quotes, and confirming all charters, and individual passenger bookings for the business. In this role you will be challenged to provide solutions for our customers in a fast paced environment. This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.
The Duties and Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage all charter enquiries (via email and phone) and provide solutions for remote travel requirements for passengers and freight
- Manage a high volume of incoming Reservations calls for charter enquiries and scheduled services
- Actively work to convert quotes to confirmed charters and provide suitable alternatives when required
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key clients, customers, partners and stakeholders
- Comprehensive account management of major account contracts across Australia
- Reservation and Ticketing functions for scheduled services
- Freight Bookings and enquiries
- Anticipate and proactively act to deal with future charters, situations and opportunities
- Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures
- Liaise directly with and support the Flight Operations Department
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably within a call centre environment
- Exceptional Customer service and communication skills
- Outstanding administration and computer skills including excel
- Focus on attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
- Professional phone manner (Essential)
- Must be able to work shift and a rotating roster to accommodate the call centre operating hours (Typically Monday - Friday only)
- Knowledge of Takeflite or other airline reservation system would be preferable but not required
- Efficient and reliable with excellent time management skills
- General aviation or logistics experience preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and keep up in a fast paced environment essential to this role
