Resident Field Service Mechanic - Tweed Heads

WesTrac is seeking an experienced Resident Field Service Plant Mechanic to operate between Ballina and Tweed Heads!

A Resident Field Service role with WesTrac will see you utilising your diagnostic skills to troubleshoot, repair and service a range of Caterpillar equipment for OEM customers. With a high level of autonomy, our technicians work to provide a service like no other!

Proximity to site will be taken into consideration throughout the application process.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer equipment
• Diagnosing and reporting for preventative maintenance
• Autonomously providing solutions, service and satisfaction to our customer
• Liaising and building a strong customer base and providing timely product support
• Documenting work and completing any required documentation
• Scheduling jobs and ordering parts as necessary

Roster

• Monday - Friday, 6.30am - 3pm, dayshift only
• 8 Hour Shifts + 30 minute unpaid meal break
• Starting from $108,000 Base P/A plus Overtime Opportunities

• Cert III Mobile Plant qualification
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills, with a commitment to meeting customer requirements
