Exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Manager live onsite and oversee our team to manage a single prestigious Residential Building within the Sydney CBD fringe. (apartment provided at no cost to the manager)
Key Responsibilities
The Building Manager will be responsible for the running of the building and be the primary contact for technical and maintenance advice. The building has 24 hour manned security/concierge staff so this is not part of the role:
- Day to Day operational management including administration and reporting
- Reside onsite in the provided apartment
- Co-ordination of trades & services for maintenance including sourcing quotes
- Management of common property defects and rectification
- Experience in managing upgrades and capital works
- Management of 24/7 concierge and cleaning staff including reporting and inspection
- Development of Maintenance Plans and adherence to program
- Liaison with Committee of Management & OC join monthly or weekly building committee meetings
- Monitor Compliance issues on site and respond accordingly
- Prepare Management Reports as requested
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, and being adept in technology
Ideally you will have minimum 3 years Building Management experience and/or your certificate in Facilities Management with the FMA.
The successful applicant will be flexible in their thinking and have the capacity to multitask and prioritise your work schedule to meet the daily demands of the role. You will possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written to manage your residents needs on a daily basis.
The role will be subject to a Police Check.
