The Assistant to the Board of Directors will provide the Officers and Directors of ACL and ACLFL with executive and administrative support and ensure accurate and timely minutes of ACL Board and ACL Foundation Board and sub committee meetings. Other key responsibilities include:
• preparing and distributing Board papers at the direction of the Chair
• supporting the Board and sub committee’s in minute taking and tracking actions
• archiving and retaining all records
• liaising with Board members, the CEO and ACL staff
• working closely with the Chair of each Board in the preparation of Board papers
• preparing MS PowerPoint presentations, reports, correspondence and information as requested
• other administrative duties as required.
The successful applicant will have:
• previous experience in an Executive Assistant position or equivalent high level administrative support
• highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
• excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• ability to work in a team as well as self-motivated
• excellent ICT skills including “Board Effect”, and MS Office
• ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• able to work outside of business hours
