We are looking for an experienced Activity Officer to join the team at our vibrant Wommin Bay village, NSW.

The Role:
- Assist to deliver individual and group programs for residents within the activities program, and based on their diverse needs and areas of interest to them.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable and fulfilling living environment for residents through appropriate preparation, planning and management of activities.
- Ensure information is appropriately captured in the resident clinical management system.
- Provide personal care assistance to residents to assist with activities of daily living when required or under instruction from the RN or EN.
- In addition to assistance with group programs, the role includes responsibilities to foster a safe home-like environment and assist in maintaining the standard of the resident living environment, in partnership with residents and other members of the RACF team.
About You:
- Intermediate skills in the use of a range of technology based applications and platforms such as resident clinical management systems, videoconferencing technology, web based applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including when communicating with individuals with diverse needs.
- The ability to assist residents from a diverse range of backgrounds and interests.
- Previous experience in a Lifestyle Program in Aged or community care is preferred.
- Completion of Dementia skills training is preferred.
