About the opportunity
The Construction Site Supervisor reports to the Area Manager and is part of the Mid North Coast Construction Team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to on delivering outstanding quality homes that exceed our customers' expectations. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company processes and systems and inducting trades and suppliers to our sites
- Allocating materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of homes
- Ensuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings
- Inspecting completed work to ensure high standards
- Liaising with customers and other stakeholders to ensure resolution of site issues
- Ensuring that the required documentation and paperwork is completed during the building process
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s leading residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Outstanding leadership, communication and planning abilities with a passion for working in a face paced environment
- A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management
- Experience within the Residential Project Home Industry
- Considerable knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials and work standards related to the building of residential homes
- The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
