Form of workKara Homes is looking for a full time Site Supervisor. We’re a builder that focuses on residential custom design projects and units’ developments, mid-range value double storey projects. We have minimum client work, mainly our own development projects.
As a Construction Supervisor, we are looking for the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor.
- Strong residential building knowledge.
- Attention to detail.
- Superb communication skills.
- Understanding of various methods of construction.
- A reasonable level of computer skills.
- MUST have local building knowledge
The role:
- Co-ordination of projects (assisted by in house project coordinator)
- Overseeing all contractors on site
- Implementing current OHS policies and procedures
- Ordering of all materials (assisted by in house project coordinator)
- Use of Hand and Power Tools
- Planning and preparing projects
- Check and Sign off of subcontractors Invoices
- Daily routine site inspections
- Control of trade and supplier programming.
- Reporting job progress and maintaining quality of construction.
- Approving and managing of invoicing.
- Ensuring safety and maintain good work procedures.
