Our client, who are a leading paediatric therapy service in the Northwest, are looking for recruit Speech Pathologists to their team on either a permanent or contractual basis. They have proven success as a local regional allied health and mental health provider, which is based on their understanding of the challenges to providing high quality care in remote Western Australia.

They are a multi-disciplinary team who are solutions focused and collaborate creatively to support children with a wide variety of needs. They are a registered NDIS provider and are committed to supporting choice and control.

The role

As the Speech Therapist, you will be working with other Allied Health professionals to work alongside clients and their families. You’ll build strong relationships to provide assessment and intervention services to paediatric clients with developmental delay and/or disability to achieve real change and improve quality of lives.

The duties and responsibilities of the Speech Therapist will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing evidence-based, innovative and high-quality services to patients
  • Assessment and diagnosis of children and young people presenting with communication and/or feeding disorders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and services
  • Consulting with family, school and other relevant stakeholders regarding assessment, diagnosis and management, including those clients with complex needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary assessment and treatment programs
  • Maintain own calendar and client database

About you

In order to be considered for the role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Current police clearance
  • Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
  • Current driving licence
