In this role, you'll:
Work within our Resource Allocation team focused on engaging, leading and mentoring a team involved in Resource Allocation services for our Fleet Maintenance Branch of Sydney Trains.
This role will see you prioritise and manage workflow to enable the effective service delivery and performance targets of fleet maintenance to be achieved. This will include a high percentage of your time managing both internal and external stakeholders, dealing with complex issues as well as performance management of the team.
You will be joining and managing an established and committed team of around 6 to 10 people, where your skills and experience in developing master rosters, Resource Allocation / utilisation and rostering policies, procedures and principles will be well utilised.

About you
Your proven experience in managing people as well as your experience in rostering and scheduling within a large complex process driven organisation, will see you joining this leadership role dealing with a vast array of stakeholders and bringing your ideas to the table.
Your recognised as having an analytical mind with the ability to work with data and technology systems. This will include Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce or similar, where you can conduct data analytics and triage this with customer interactions and metrics.
In addition to this, you will bring your people skills and technical understanding of process and policies as you engage with the team and stakeholders to streamline as well as identify opportunities to improve our processes to support the work conducted at our maintenance centres and cleaning locations.
This is an Award RC5 Permanent Full-Time role based in Auburn, with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model! You’ll be engaged full time, however this role is also identified as able to be a job share part-time opportunity, shall you wish to have increased flexibility in the future!
