The Resource Manager plays a pivotal role in coordinating and optimizing logistical operations across our four branches in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. The role involves overseeing transport, installation, and warehouse activities to ensure efficiency in labour and asset utilization. Additionally, the Central Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining payroll accuracy and entry, as well as ensuring job costing accuracy.

An Open4 Resource Manager is an integral part of the business to ensure the project management requirements are met to meet project deadlines in a timely and cost effective manor.
Open4 is a dynamic team and we are looking for a professional Resource Manager with a positive attitude who can think outside the box to create better efficiencies within our organisation. The Resource Manager will be required to work within a team structure, and confidently communicate to internal staff members and clientele. This role requires someone who is organised and able to identify issues before they arise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistical Coordination: Coordinate transport, installation, and warehouse activities across all branches to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
2. Labor and Asset Management: Efficiently allocate labour and assets to various tasks and projects to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
3. Payroll Management: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by recording and verifying employee hours in line with what had been scheduled and reconcile any discrepancies with the relevant PM to ensure payroll accuracy.
4. Job Costing: Monitor and enter costs associated with each job daily.
5. Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with branch managers, drivers, installation teams, and warehouse staff to relay important information and address any issues or concerns.
6. Problem Solving: Identify logistical challenges and proactively implement solutions to minimize disruptions and delays in operations.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in all logistical operations.
Core Competencies & Role Requirements
- Previous experience in installation, transportation, or warehouse management preferred.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in payroll processing and data entry
- Familiarity with job costing principles and financial management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of people within and outside the company.
- Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems efficiently
- Minimum intermediate level MS Office application skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
