SalaryA fantastic career prospect is available for a motivated Front of House Duty Manager at Haus Restaurant. Situated in the vibrant heart of Hahndorf, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team in a busy restaurant, function, and event center.
Your duties will involve providing support to the hands-on Restaurant Manager and Directors in team leadership, supervising daily operations, overseeing staff management, and actively contributing to functions, conferences, and events.
Key Aspects:
- Streamlining restaurant operations through adept multitasking to uphold productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
- Providing positive leadership, coaching, and support for a dynamic Front of House (FOH) team consisting of 50+ employees.
- Conducting ongoing training and regular evaluations to ensure consistent high performance among team members.
- Maintaining a high standard of personal presentation and conduct in all professional interactions.
- Facilitating effective communication with managers, supervisors, department heads, colleagues, and customers.
- Offering comprehensive daily handovers and commentary to management upon request.
- Exercising keen attention to detail to guarantee high-quality outcomes in all aspects of the role.
- Undertaking emergency warden duties and responding to on-site first aid situations promptly.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in effectively managing high-paced restaurant/café/hotel environments, showcasing robust leadership abilities with a team of 15+ Front of House staff per shift.
- Capability to thrive and provide support in a team-oriented environment, even under high-pressure situations.
- Proven experience in supervising conferences and events, displaying a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to commit to weekend work and public holidays within specified guidelines.
