We are looking for an experienced service focused hospitality professional to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant as well as lead and motivate the team to deliver reliably exceptional customer service.

Located on South Road, The Maid of Auckland Hotel, is centrally positioned just minutes from the Morphettville Racecourse, the beautiful suburb of Glenelg and the city centre. First licensed in 1851, the historically listed hotel has a long and rich history of being a family hotel, holding onto the traditional values of what a pub should be.
Who we are looking for…
We are seeking a proven and experienced Restaurant Manager to take the reins of front food & beverage service operations.
Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, the ideal candidate will have prior experience in pubs, and have the ability to continue to develop our full table service model and team.
We are all about ensuring the best customer experience in a cosy pub feel restaurant. Presentation, communication, reliability, service management, and money handling should all come naturally to you.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to…
- Calling and managing bookings for the restaurant, including significant events,
- Ensuring positive guest experiences from arrival to departure,
- Hands on leadership and running of service periods,
- Training and development of new staff,
- Remaining up to date with current food and beverage trends,
Experience with H&L an added advantage.
