Job Tasks and Responsibilities
As the Restaurant Manager, your time will be dedicated to managing restaurant staff and operations to ensure a high-quality dining experience at RAKU. Your role will include but not limited to the following:
- Creating fine-dining Japanese menus in collaboration with Chefs
- Setting purchasing and pricing strategies within budget constraints
- Keeping track of stock levels and financial transactions
- Ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining clean and functional dining
- Maintaining guest satisfaction and taking feedback to improve service quality
- Training and supervising staff with the standard of fine dining restaurant
- Taking part in the staff recruiting process
- Taking reservations, welcoming guests, and assisting with order-taking
- Ensuring high quality of service and customer experience
Skills and Experience

- Impeccable attention to detail
- Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume, upmarket restaurant recommended
- Experience and qualification in the field

- Flexible availability across a 7 day a week operation
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine
- Prior sushi experience necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
