Form of workThe Lighthouse Restaurant, Cleveland is located absolute bayside with views to Stradbroke Island and has been a Brisbane destination for many years. With a focus on fresh simple food done well, it is a place to enjoy great seafood, take in the magnificent view and relax.
Operationally the business operates an a la carte restaurant, cafe and fish and chippery across the seven day week. Working closely with owners lead the team up 30 servicing all outlets and functions.
As a Restaurant Manager you will be a fantastic role model for service and organisational skills. You maybe a senior level supervisor or Assistant RM or an experienced "on the floor" F&B leader looking for a great opportunity - we are open to this range of experience levels.
We would like to ask a few questions that will help us complete the team with this very important role:
· How do you lead your team during and outside service periods?
· Inspiring your team to lift when the heat is on is important, how do you achieve this?
· What is your approach to managing payroll, how do you ensure budgeted levels are met?
· When you entertain at home, what do you like to create?
· How do you ensure the kitchen team are in tune with Front of House operations to create a great service experience for customers?
· When you see opportunity to improve the business, how do you present this to your manager/ owners?
To be upfront, this is an operational - lead by example role. You will certainly hit your weekly steps targets!
