The Rol

As the Restaurant Manager of The Shorehouse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the restaurant. You'll lead a team of dedicated staff, uphold our high standards of service, and contribute to the continued success of our hospitality group. Your responsibilities will include:

• Motivate, train, and mentor a diverse team to deliver top-notch customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, ordering, stock take, following and implementing OHS policies, recruitment, onboarding and training etc
• Monitor financial performance, manage labour, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Liaise with the wider hospitality group to implement best practices, share insights, and contribute to the group's growth strategy.

What we're looking for?

• Proven experience in a hospitality leadership role, ideally as Restaurant Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
• Understanding of food and market trends and sound wine knowledge
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with a diverse team.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Experience with stock control and inventory management
