We are a locally owned and operated southern Gold Coast hospitality business operating two busy beachside venues, Cafe Kirra and Vanilla Lily with the iconic Cafe Kirra trading from the same location for more than 20 years.
Our Vanilia Lily venue has an excellent opportunity for a full time Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Management and daily operation of our Boutique Seaside venue including;
Collaborating with senior kitchen staff to plan and set menus
Organisation or special functions including weekly cocktail and seasonal tapas events on Friday and Saturday nights
Maintain stock records and complete orders and purchasing
Ensuring venue and all staff adhere to workplace health and safety and food health regulations
Select and train wait and kitchen staff
Assist with reservations, greeting and orders
Applicants for this position should have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in lieu of formal qualifications
- At least 2 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated staff management experience with proven successful outcomes
- Demonstrated and referenced success in the set key responsibilities
- High attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and mornings.
- Full understanding of Work Safe industry practices
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
Remuneration
An initial annual salary of $70 000 + Superannuation will be offered to the successful applicant
