  • Inspired by the flavours, scents and warmth of a classic Parisian neighbourhood restaurant, Chez Blue (pronounced shay-blew) is a casual neighbourhood bistrot, celebrating delicious French cuisine right in the beating heart of Rozelle.

    The dimly lit dining room is brought to life with the chinking of glasses and chatter of patrons, as they enjoy cool tunes and immerse themselves in our Parisian style experience! 

    With 90 seats and a beautiful front bar for pre or post dinner drinks, our patrons can sip cocktails and soak up the vibrant atmosphere over a few oysters, or taste some of our show stopping dishes such as Saddle of White Pyrenees lamb or Steak Frites from an intimate corner table. 
     
    With an exceptional wine list and a stellar cocktail offering, this is the opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager with a passion for premium service and wine to lead, host and create with us at Chez Blue

    The Role

    Overseeing our a la carte restaurant, the role will be to manage the day to day running of the restaurant and to execute a high standard of customer service for our guests.  

    With a loyal local following of neighbourhood patrons, we are looking to create warm, friendly and engaging service that is well executed and professional.
      
    The role will involve all the venue essentials including the day to day running of the shift, opening, and closing the venue, back of house administration and banking, training, and developing the team, overseeing the wine list, hiring staff, rostering and assisting patrons, overseeing restaurant financials and more.

    Motivating, inspiring, training your team and ensuring the guest experience is flawless will be at the forefront of your role.

    Having worked in some of Sydney’s best restaurants, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager looking for a step up, to bring their flair, passion, and leadership experience to our venue.
