RESTAURANT MANAGER @ THE LUCKY PRAWN
The Bob Hawke Beer & Leisure Centre is a 300 pax hospitality venue, located in Marrickville, Sydney. More than just a venue, the Beer & Leisure Centre is the beating heart of Hawke’s Brewing Co., the independent, Australian-owned beer company co-founded by former Australian Prime Minister, Bob Hawke.
Since launching in April 2022, the Beer & Leisure Centre has won numerous awards, including TimeOut Sydney ‘Best Casual Drinking Venue’ and Beer & Brewer ‘Brewpub of the Year’.
With a full-service bar, The Beer & Leisure Centre proudly pours Hawke’s range of award-winning core range beers and ‘One Hit Wonder’ limited releases, all brewed on site. While executive chef, Nic Wong (formerly Cho Cho San, CicciaBella, Rockpool), spearheads The Lucky Prawn bistro, which came one point shy of earning a chef’s hat in the 2022 Good Food Guide but still took home Urban List’s ‘Best Snack in Sydney’ for its now famous Lucky Prawn Toast.

More specifically, the key responsibilities of the role include:
Working cohesively within the management team both FOH and BOH
Evolve and maintain Guest experience
Restaurant growth with forecasting and wage controls
Guest feedback procedures
Overseeing the booking system
Training and creating sequence of service
Recruitment and retention of wait staff
Requirements:
Must be comfortable managing a fast paced, high volume restaurant.
Minimum 2 years experience in a management role
Full-time position / must be available on weekends.
Report directly to Licensee and Executive Chef.
AUD 90-95k pa (Plus Super) Commensurate with Experience + Performance Bonus.
