Small restaurant in central Yarraville looking for a Restaurant Manager.
We are a fast paced and friendly restaurant that takes pride in the quality of our food and customer service.
Your responsibilities:
- Overall directing of services for customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Coordinating workflow related to food and beverage service
- Consideration of customer feedback and implementing new procedures to improve standards of service
- Proficiency in all customer service-related duties such as taking reservations, greet guests and taking orders
- Team management, including
- Recruitment, training and supervising of qualified waiting and kitchen staff
- Resolving employee issues
- Planning menu items and pricing in consultation with chefs and business owners
- Managing and ordering of stock to ensure adequate quantity and quality of goods
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health and safety standards
- Developing marketing strategies for business sustainability and development
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions for budgeting
- Review and prepare reports for business owners
What you'll need:
- Previous Restaurant Manager or assistant manager experiences
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English
- Excellent communications
- Approachable and reliable - with customers and employees.
- Passionate about building and maintaining a positive and healthy culture.
